#photography #filmphotography #darkroom I did a series of split-grade density test strips. I tried grade 00 at 20 seconds, plus grade 5 at 5, 7.1, 10, 14.1, 20, 28.3 and 40 ses (half-stop sequence). The results are interesting. You get a range of "paper grades" from about 0 to about 3, but with much different toes (highlight separation is increased) and shoulders (shadow separation is reduced), compared to the base curves.
