Blood in the body resorbs at some rate, but how does that work for an intracranial hemorrhage? I assume the blood/brain barrier complicates the story?

@numist@xoxo.zone A friend had this happen last October. The drill a hole in your head and put a drip tube in it until it drips clear. It's, uh, not great.

@numist@xoxo.zone My understanding is the time window is much more sensitive. My dad had one a few years back after a fall. They need to get rid of the pressure *fast*.
