And as a complement to the PRS guitar I purchased a 'headphone amp' so I can practice silently. I didn't screw around and bought one of the best after going through reviews on just about ALL of them. The BOSS Katana go.

@dobbie003@fosstodon.org @jloc0@mastodon.sdf.org @thesaigoneer@social.linux.pizza I've always used BOSS pedals and they stood the test of time (part of the reason I went for the katana go), although the only pedal I've retained from my collection is an Ibanez tube Screamer. They are legendary. I've always had tube/valve amps and found myself using pedals less over the years but the screamer just added that touch of drive when needed.
