@Moosader@mastodon.gamedev.place The game engine has been purged from Blender for awhile(good riddance) but Godot is a perfect complement. Real good these days. Don't buy into the "industry" keymap nonsense, use default for best future proofing.

I don't know about making games directly in Blender, but the bridge between Godot and Blender is decent especially if you use the material maker someone made in Godot. Godot is also FOSS, so it's good for another software to use if you'd like. I use Blender for all my 3D Modelling the main pitfalls I would say are more to do with art in general and not Blender specifically though. Though I guess the best I can say is try not to be overwhelmed by all the options.
