@jtb@toot.wales @fruitless_tux@mastodon.social Of course you can blame the platform for having a badly designed interface. Most phishing scams are because of badly designed interfaces. Usability is a key part of cryptography, and avoiding user error is one of the most important things in a cryptographic system. See for example Enigma. You can also blame the users, but that doesn't take away any responsibility from the cryptographic system.
