I hear you but that's also my point. Why not let the lulz also be a pipeline to non-toxic things? Maybe I'm misunderstanding something but it feels counterproductive to apply purity tests to language based on how it once originated.

@potatoes_fall@miscreants.party nobody is applying a purity test to anyone. Two people expressed their dislike of certain phrasings, with some reasons why. You like what you want to like. My personal opinion is that normalizing the insider language of the manosphere makes that culture seem more widely accepted if not attractive. That's it really.
