@benjamineskola@hachyderm.io @liw@toot.liw.fi I think the big innovation was predictible freeze cycles, rather than a scheduled release date that many projects use... this still allows releasing when ready, while coordinating when to really focus on the release... I think this happened maybe 2009-ish?
