I work at the intersection of semantics, syntax, and cognitive science, looking at the way that form, meaning, and cognitive mechanisms interact. I've primarily worked on countability and partitivity. All of my work is in English but I've worked on English (Old, Modern, and varieties), Greek, Hungarian, and Japanese.

@SusanneOpitz@social.uibk.ac.at @linguistics@fedigroups.social I work mostly in Welsh-English bilingualism, most recently looking at the semiotics of online orthographic practices. I also edit an online corpus-based dictionary for adult learners of Welsh. I do a lot of markup-language related work, too, so I guess I'm at a weird intersection of linguistics and technology.

Lots of admin work these days though, so there's a lot of complaining about university structures as well
