@s0@cathode.church first console I ever touched was an Avolites Tiger Touch II at SHA Camp in 2017. the guy at the music tent saw me checking the setup out and let me watch, then gave me control for a bit after I'd figured out the basics. took me all of about 10 minutes to figure out enough to be able to busk, and picked up extra features and stuff as I went. but if I had to set it all up first, instead of it already being good to go? even with the manual it would've been a major slog.

@s0@cathode.church but it definitely shows off just how intuitive consoles can be when I went from no experience whatsoever to fully taking over for the lighting guy for a solid 6h of live sets by the next day. I was instantly hooked.
