People who say &quot;you should get out of your comfort zone sometimes&quot; have the privilege of *having* a comfort zone. I&#39;m so far out of my comfort zone that I forgot what it feels like to be at ease with myself! And I need to make extra effort to create the conditions to feel welcomed and accepted! #ActuallyAutistic

@dinobelbo@mastodon.online I seem to remember a book entitled “Been down so long it looks like up to me.” Leastways I hope it’s a book and not a C&W song. I’d hate people to think I listen to C&W.

@dinobelbo@mastodon.online Yes - with you - I hate the phrase "Comfort Zone", because so many people seem to think they should be allowed to stay in some sort of comfort zone. I don't think I have ever had a comfort zone. I don't see why other people should have such a thing.
