@ChristosArgyrop@mastodon.social I already got two FreeBSD storage machines, one w/ 11 Exos M and another one off site with 13 Exos X22. Both setups using ZFS, one in a stripe+mirror +spare setup, the other one in RAIDZ2. In addition to that, I got directly attached storage with 8 older 12TB WD Red Pro w/ one of my Macs in a ZFS stripe+mirror setup. Also got 11 older HGST 10TB drives I used in my old storage server now waiting in a drawer to be used again. I simply have no need for more HDDs for a while.
