@macronencer@mastodon.scot I've been through the same, and in much less time. I was raised in a conservative bastion in a red state in the US, where I was considered left of Lenin for wanting equality for all and, y'know, maybe not so many bodies in the street. I've been "vote blue no matter who" since Trump got the nomination in 2016. I have gone from being center right to a lefty lib just for standing up to the actual Gestapo. It's only protesting alongside actual Communists that reminds me I'm not one.
