Hey I found a picture of the operator terminal I was talking about, the one that was the only place you could get “true” root access. Gotta love the cream/brown/orange colour scheme

@sinbad@mastodon.gamedev.place I used them at Uni before PCs were brought in. Or similar terminal sets. Those were the times. Who had access to shell on those and could access early internet was a hacker hero in the hood!
