I'm not a lover of this new outlook, and while I know it's possible to go back, the reality is if Microsoft does what they always do, we won't be able to eventually, and if the rumors of a purely driven AI Windows12 are true, we should run screaming for the exits. But TB would sometimes lose my messages and be weird, but if it has improved or if there are other options, I'm for it

@startrek2025@mastodon.stickbear.me @amir@dragonscave.space @kaveinthran@disabled.social I have actually been using betterbird for my work email, and it seems to be behaving. for what I understand it is a fork off of thunderbird. I did have to get an addon for it called owl to access my work email, but like I said, once I got it all up and running, things are behaving. I also have a portable version of it, so if I want to have it on my laptop, I can just copy the betterbird folder to a folder on my laptop over the network and it should work just fine.
