@craiggrannell@mastodon.social yes and as (I believe) the RAM is on-die and part of the SoC that Apple manufacturer in their own fabs, the price shouldn’t be affected by the wider RAM shortage, right? 🤔 That said, *all* A18 series SoCs have 8GB RAM, so redesigning the A18, or using a more advanced SoC would have increased the price. I just can’t believe they put a headphone socket on it 😀
