What is interesting is Microsoft’s insistence that Office Macros are a security risk and need to be disabled by default and have a roadmap for completely excising them from Office entirely. And then they also insist that end users should be empowered to create their own “agents” that automate their job. Like Excel macros could automatically generate a report and email it. Now an agent will be able to do the same but be “programmed” using natural language. Time is a flat circle.
