kind of hate ttc line 5. it's not a subway, it's a streetcar in a tube, sometimes. should have called it 5xx something. i was coming back from wilson and thought, oh, i'll just bridge over on line 5 to get to wellesley faster than going around the line 1 bend. i am pretty sure it was slower. and involved multiple level changes including a broken escalator (when i was toting a lot of shopping in a cart). i'm sure it's nice for some purposes, but not that one.
