My favorite from this issue was definitely "Light In The Abyss" by @sarenaulibarri@wandering.shop definitely
Anything she's engaged with usually turns out good in one way or every way, and that definitely includes her own writing. I thought this was the most easy to read of the stories in this edition, and that's one of the strengths I find with Sarena's works: her accessibility. Her stories are always easy to enjoy!

"Onyema's Head" by Kasimma This one is not as easy to understand. The story is more metaphorical, it doesn't read like a western short story. More than solarpunk, this one feels like afrofuturist fiction from Africa (in contrast to African-American/diaspora), which makes sense, since Kasimma is from Igboland in Nigeria (a.k.a. "Biafra", during the failed war of independence in the late 60ies), and currently resides in Nigeria. Try it and see what you think! 3/
