other shit that i think is immoral: microwaves that beep again after a bit when your food is ready. i didn't forget i'm doing other shit in the kitchen! i didn't forget my fucking food in the microwave is done! don't beep again!

i told this to my mom and she said she does forget her food is done sometimes. i don't get it. that shit is immoral

@monorail@glaceon.social it's semi-redeemable if it's beeping on the minute after it finishes but honestly it would be better to just have it start a timer when it's done

@monorail@glaceon.social i don't think they should beep again later on, but it has happened (on like two or three occasions over the years) that i come up to the kitchen in the morning and find some random meal in the microwave

@monorail@glaceon.social my air fryer does this and also will beep forever if the basket isn't inserted. so i have to unplug the damn thing if im washing the basket otherwise it will never shut up. it sucks
