@dona@mastodon.art Yeah, not only that…I fear that consumer hardware will soon be so expensive that we will be forced to buy underpowered devices with mandatory subscriptions to compute power in that cloud for the same price as a current high power device. 😕 It’s almost funny how we seem to be going right back to the huge mainframes in a basement somewhere with thin clients to access it…if it wasn’t so sad. 😅
