seems like a good idea. used to wrestle with similar issues across diverse platforms; web/windows/linux/mac and eventually used ldap:mint_embarrassed: db to achieve 'single sign-on'. seems fedi could benefit from a distributed login. heroic effort. thanks. also I had no clue about fires until poking around to; https://fires.fedimod.org/concepts/

@m3t00 this isn't distributed login, this is just data sharing. A girl can hope that one day the fediverse will get a proper identity and authorisation layer. It's one of the things I like most about AT Protocol; ActivityPub API may make this a reality
