@jasonsantamaria@typo.social @tylersticka@social.lol Confession. I haven’t the foggiest notion how to manage fonts since classic Mac OS became OS X. They use to be a local arsenal you owned and shared to get printed, now it’s some sort of web thing? It wasn’t just the web that killed DTP, it was the dominant platform for DTP itself changing. It was like knowing html and you come into work the next day and they are talking about css. Stealth tech paradigm shifts.

    @Chancerubbage@mastodon.social @tylersticka@social.lol Totally understandable! OS X has its own font app now (Font Book) where you can just drop fonts into and turn them on/off. You can also drop files right into your Fonts folder, which back in the day usually crashed your computer 😂
