@artbysarahsammis@socialbc.ca Those tea caddies remind me of the fancy smorgasbord appetizer my lady friend and I ordered at SCANDIA, an upscale restaurant in LA after she was accepted to grad school. There were very fancy canapés and other nascherei. I tasted one which turned out to be a very rich pate.
"Here taste this!" I said to her and offered her a bite.
She tasted it. "Did you just put liver in my mouth?" she said as her eyes narrowed.
I guess not everyone grew up casually noshing on their Nana's chopped liver on matzie before Sunday dinner.

@mvilain@sfba.social Chopped liver was a new thing for me 30 years back. It wasn't part of my family recipes either. It was / is part of my husband's family. So I nosh on it regularly now.
