@JamminJerry@mastodon.stickbear.me @remixman@kind.social It is possible to not use their router and replace it with your own stuff, but doing it right is expensive, probably more than most who get this service would want to deal with. Yes, you can just plug an existing router in, but it is possible to clone the IMEI, take the SIM card out and install it in another device that doesn't have such restrictions.

@BorrisInABox@fwoof.space @remixman@kind.social I wouldn't know how to do that myself, but I do have our personal router we have been using hooked to there router, but you still can't do port forwarding I don't think, as you can't put there router into bridge mode.
