I'm jealous of all the parents whose kids grew up pre-covid. Not only did they miss out on the hell of homeschooling, they also caught colds and had normal recovery cycles. Covid hadn't fucked up everyone's immune system yet. I remember those days too - when the 14yo entered preschool, we were constantly getting sick. But it was normal sick - at most, a week of sniffles. Now everything lingers fucking forever.

@Andres4NY@social.ridetrans.it I wonder if the COVID t-cell exhaustion that some groups have reported is contributing to it taking longer to recover from other diseases?
