My latest Ontario home model. I have GSHP heating and 1 plug-in PHEV. I took my last 12 mo kWh usage and scaled the IESO grid connected solarPV hourly dataset to match that annual output. I created a spreadsheet to match the 2 hourly datasets and accumulate any supply deficits/surpluses. This graph is the result to date. It says I would need 4.5MWh worth of seasonal storage to carry my house on Ontario solar.
