@chjara@snowdin.town @Polychrome@poly.cybre.city @SigmaOne@toot.party this is almost certainly a "technical folks read the datasheets, ran tests, and expressed the risks; management folks accepted the risk to meet the sales claims" situation. Asus' technical folks on the hardware side are very competent. I have my doubts about the software team (soooo many driver vulnerabilities) but even that could be explained by under-resourcing and overwork.
