The quarantine for the 14 Spaniards (probably) infected with the #hantavirus is „voluntary“.
Spanish law requires you to agree to any form of quarantine as it restricts your freedom. 😵💫

@tobi82@swiss.social Good to see that the lessons from what Covid could have been were learnt by Spain's government. Oh wait, under Spanish law, carriers of a deadly disease would be free to wander around spreading the infection to many others? Can only begin to imagine how it would be to live in a nation where people can do whatever they want even when the chance of them killing many is high. No speeding fines, no food or explosives safety laws, just walk around causing deaths? #HantaVirus
