@tom_verbeure@mastodon.social If I remember correctly the chroma key color used for the waveform overlay is 10,9,9 in RGB. So if you draw in that color in paint or so, the waveform should appear in its place.

@karotte@chaos.social That’s a fun thing to try. I looked through the datasheet of the VGA controller but couldn’t really figure out how they did it. The chip has an input to stream in video, but that data isn’t gen-locked AFAICT. I think it’s a DMA into the controller attached video memory.
