@alpenglow@mstdn.social @ArchiteuthisFlux@leds.social I recently put a unicode filled triangle on a board as a marker. The board I received had a friggin `?` in its place.

@MisterHW@fosstodon.org @ArchiteuthisFlux@leds.social Huh. That's interesting, like it didn't convert the text to a graphic in the the gerber process and was interpreted as a missing font? Was this with KiCad? I've used a bunch of weird fonts and never had that issue, but haven't used many glyph/symbols outside of good old ascii.
