@MisterHW@fosstodon.org @ArchiteuthisFlux@leds.social Huh. That's interesting, like it didn't convert the text to a graphic in the the gerber process and was interpreted as a missing font? Was this with KiCad? I've used a bunch of weird fonts and never had that issue, but haven't used many glyph/symbols outside of good old ascii.

@alpenglow@mstdn.social I'll post a pic and details if I can find it again (it's been a fair number of PCBs recently). The lesson is perhaps that one always needs to look at the Gerber output before ordering. But then again, sometimes the manufacturer previews even don't render correctly.
