@only_ohm@mas.to @TimWardCam@c.im That’s still voting. Spolied ballots are fine, showing up and scribbling all over your ballot paper is still a vote. Showing up and making the numbers, even if dissatisfaction, is important. Thank you for showing up and voting whichever way.

One had "cunt" written against all the candidates' names except one, which had "not a cunt" written against it. This was counted as a valid vote, under the "intention of the voter is clear" rule. One had an essay on "monarchy is racist", and, regardless of any boxes he'd ticked, this couldn't be counted as a vote because the voter had identified himself, in that we knew the person who rode this particular hobby-horse, because he'd said the same thing to canvassers.
