I think we’re a long long way from that, but…food prices going up in way that hurts seems distressingly plausible.

@inthehands@hachyderm.io it may hit sooner than we think. I’m not sure about the current fertilizer reserves (considering growing corn for ethanol rather than for human consumption), but prices will go up more because of the shortage. Farmers going bankrupt and not planting because lack of fertilizer is something I hadn’t considered
