The only "superpower" of SARS-CoV-2, in my opinion, was the reluctance of the WHO and CDC to recognize that it transmits via the airborne route.

All these expert quotes contrasting hantavirus which only transmits via "close contact" with other viruses that are "exceedingly contagious via an airborne route" - where were these people when the IPC experts on HICPAC were saying that hospital infection control policies only have to worry about ballistic droplets?
