All these expert quotes contrasting hantavirus which only transmits via "close contact" with other viruses that are "exceedingly contagious via an airborne route" - where were these people when the IPC experts on HICPAC were saying that hospital infection control policies only have to worry about ballistic droplets?

    I know that I am a crank on this topic - in the Cory Doctorow sense: "Cranks can be right or they can be wrong, but we’re hard to be in coalition with, because we are uncompromisingly passionate about things that other people largely don’t even notice, let alone care about." But, for better or for worse, I think I will always see my work as a medical librarian through the frame of evidence-based medicine coming to grips (or not) with the fact of SARS-CoV-2 being airborne.
