In a way, computing embodies the essence of humanity. We take a blank canvas of electrical fields - a purely physical phenomenon, devoid of inherent meaning - and imbue it with assumptions, values, and purpose, manifesting order despite a chaotic, uncaring universe; creating beautiful pockets of defiant structure, each clock cycle shielding these brittle gardens from entropy's relentless encroachment.
