@vulgalour@birdbutt.com Just counting the threads in the picture, I suspect that's a 32 thread-per-inch screw, likely US #6, #8, or #10 diameter (US screws are a mess). You might be able to buy a shoulder bolt as a better improvised solution, though the part does practically cry out to be turned on a hobby lathe -- if I was on the correct side of the atlantic I'd offer to make one, but alas the international shipping would be extraordinarily expensive.

@multioculate@mastodon.social If I had a workshop, this would be exactly the sort of thing I'd use an excuse to buy and learn how to use a lathe that was at least twice my own age and weighed as much as a large horse, so I absolutely get you on that one.
