@firephoto@mastodon.social It certainly won’t hurt. I’m never short of pea seeds to use some as sacrificial in other areas to keep the mice otherwise occupied. If they come good too, that’s great. I’m hoping these carlin and Latvian peas won’t attract interest from anything else. These varieties of peas are for drying, storing and cooking similarly to lentils.

    @Broadfork@mastodon.green I've hesitated on the replanting because they're peas and unless there's something specific to these kinds I assumed they could be planted as a cover crop and grow back after a winter. It's a double row spaced off center so I can just seed the center and let it do it's thing I guess.
