@bleeptrack@vis.social @ronanmcd@mastodon.green I'm likely wrong but a short thread I followed on Mastodon talked about the mechanics of LLMs making code. My take away was that it made code, quickly tested it, and if it worked would hand it over. If it didn't work, the LLM made new code until it passed the unseen test. It was LLMs version of brute forcing the password to an online account. No thought was ever involved. And yes, what's handed over appears to work, for now.
