I'm still amazed and loving the bookmark feature in Mastodon. I finally have a chance to go back and look at some things and to clear out some bookmarks. Often I'll look at things on my phone and for one reason or another I can't play a video or download a file as of yet. Maybe it's something I want to examine more closely on my laptop and not my phone or tablet. The bookmark is such a no brainer, I'm surprised that it's not built into other social media.

One of the big reasons I would never trust an online site or an app to manage my mental health. Transcripts of a woman&#39;s therapy sessions were pulled up by her employer during a court trial. WTF!! This goes double for any LLM based therapy app. Talkspace has been pushed in many social media ads and on streaming services with ads. I get that algorithms are designed to keep showing you what you&#39;ve looked at before and whatever has kept your eyeballs the longest &amp; coming back for more. That&#39;s how echo chambers grow. I worry because I follow many accounts that believe the same things that I do on the Fediverse, that I have developed my own echo chamber of like minded folk. Maybe the difference lies in that when I see a disagreement 80% of the time it&#39;s handled amicably. For other social medi...
