My mom sends me a Guardian link about the Claude AI backup delete story with an emphasis on how the ominous AI “ignores the guardrails” and “apologises” (instead of the CEO apologising). So now I’m interested in an article for lay people for them to see that a sophisticated text-completer apologising is bullshit. Any pointers?
