Wonder if we (both Jorts and fedi as a whole) are gonna get another influx from Stancil-gate but even if so probably nowhere near as crazy as it got during the Kirkening

It both annoys and amuses me how much people, even non reactionaries, believe that BS is inherently liberal, leftist, progressive, etc It started as a techbro libertarian web3 project and had to pivot when a) web3 hype dwindled instead of catching on b) leftish people started fleeing Twitter for Bluesky The disdain that the mods have for the vast majority of the userbase is very palpable, to me at least
