@natural20@mastodon.ie @bert_hubert@fosstodon.org the expert here is @dwmalone@mastodon.ie - I had a weird problem with the time stamps on emails in the apple mail client which turned out to be due to this issue with official Irish time being summer time!

@Luke_Drury@mastodon.dias.ie @natural20@mastodon.ie @bert_hubert@fosstodon.org I think the standard time is really a hang-over from the all year summer time experiments, and doesn't really make a lot of sense today. However, changing it would probably even worse than than leaving it the way it is!
