@sushimcpe@transfem.social AVP is a technological success tho, Virtual Boy however was kinds crap.
The problem is the price point and the target audience.

@foxxyLunaNicole@woem.men @sushimcpe@transfem.social I think it's honestly a problem of optimism not price. I'm sure the virtual boy was expensive af for its time, but at least then people had excitement and optimism for VR. Now everyone knows you're getting a expensive piece of plastic with a couple party tricks and maybe a couple real uses.
