@reiddragon@fedi.catto.garden @driftini@wetdry.world I have ditched Adobe (for Affinity, which then got bought by Figma, which changed their business model to charging for AI crap…). I can get by, but it’s objectively just not as good. I had workflows for InDesign that I just can’t reproduce.
It’s a professional tool, and Adobe has a lot of people by the short hairs.

@adamrice@c.im @driftini@wetdry.world shit's never going to get better if you just stay with the company milking you for all you're worth and then some. And other tools that don't try to fuck you also won't get better if they don't have people using them to give useful feedback about what's missing. However you look at it, expecting anything to improve while sticking around and paying your subscriptions is like expecting corruption to end while selling your vote to the highest bidder.
