You can really feel it in the Starsky & Hutch show when they're intentionally padding the run time to fill the time slot. "Hey, let's hold this minute long shot of the guy slowly climbing down the scaffolding." "How about a half a minute of Capt. Dobey just looking out the window at guys getting put into an ambulance." That's one thing Streaming did for TV shows - it eliminated the necessity of filler. Make the show whatever length it needs to be. Too bad most streaming shows are 💩 .
