I've been pondering the question 'Should I get into RC2014' lately. I'm not sure why, I initially dismissed the idea as 'nah, that's not proper retro computing'. And it isn't, not really. But it does appeal as a permacomputing project, so I pulled the trigger and ordered a kit. I'm looking forward to exploring CP/M on it, an OS I've never used before but have wanted to use for years now. There was some discussion on comp.os.cpm about adding an LCD and keyboard to it, which I found interesting in terms of permacomputing. Would make for a nice low-power computing platform. This is going to be fun! #RC2014 #PermaComputing
