@wakarimasen @lain@pleroma.soykaf.com and the RSS readers can remove those pixels along with CSS, scripts and images, or cache the tracking pixels along with all images on their server for many users.

After all, most (but of course not all) RSS readers are basically web browsers with disabled JavaScript. Many websites append something like "?source=rss" to all the urls in their feeds, others only show the first few sentences followed by a "read full article" link to force you to use their website and I've even seen services that generate a unique RSS feed url for each visitor. Tracking RSS users is more difficult, yes, but saying it's downright impossible is just wrong (unfortunately).
