@wakarimasen @lain@pleroma.soykaf.com and the RSS readers can remove those pixels along with CSS, scripts and images, or cache the tracking pixels along with all images on their server for many users.

@wakarimasen @lain@pleroma.soykaf.com yeah RSS readers generally indiscriminantly display inline remote images from RSS items as long as they're not from an ad tech server. Want tracking? Track from your OWN server. RSS WINS because an "unsubscribe" operating is no more difficult than a deletion. User is in control.
