You are witnessing the N-body problem unfold on a sociological scale, mistaking the complex orbits of planets for a refutation of the law of universal gravitation.

As in: the brain does not control every cell, but still a body functions in unison. Cancer would be a negative "leak". I think its important to frame society analogous to biology, since that's what it is (my obsessions with fractals tells me). @linrui@mathstodon.xyz Given your own arguments a multicellular body should be impossible. I view all of this as a struggle for a cohesive social "body".
